Historic Rugby: Christmas In July, July 11, 2020
Rugby, Tennessee: Historic Rugby is hosting the third annual Christmas in July event on Saturday, July 11 from 10-5 Eastern (9-4 Central). Free admission. Take the time to social distance and get some early Christmas shopping out of the way while exploring a lovely Victorian village just off State Scenic Highway 52.
Christmas is a time for giving and several local charities, non-profits, and state parks will be here to talk about the impact that they are making in the community. Drop by the booths to learn about the Morgan-Scott Project, the Unicorn Fund, Scott County Family Justice Center, Alvin C. York State Park, Morgan County Tourism Alliance, Frozen Head State Park, and many others.
Music and entertainment will be provided by Jim Goad and the Band, Josh McDowell, and Standing Stone Bluegrass, among others. There will be a community flea market in the Rugby Community Center and the Commissary Building. Look for several other vendors selling unique Christmas gifts and demonstrating Appalachian crafts. Food will be provided by Country Dogs, Harrow Road Café, and John Boy’s Barbecue.
